The move means that Bartle Bogle Hegarty has also been eliminated from the process.

AkzoNobel, the owner of Dulux, first called a review of its £60 million global advertising business in September, as part of a move to consolidate all of its paint brands into a single agency.

The company appointed the intermediary Oystercatchers to handle the review.

AkzoNobel will now hold meetings with DDB and Euro RSCG early next week, when an appointment is expected to be made.
