The intermediary Oystercatchers, which is handling the review, is approaching roster and non-roster agencies to compete for the business.

Abbott Mead Vickers BBDO currently looks after the £6 million UK Dulux advertising account.

Kerris Bright, AkzoNobel's chief marketing officer for decorative paints, is overseeing the review. She is believed to be seeking an agency with a worldwide presence that can demonstrate how AkzoNobel's global brands can be brought together and promoted through campaigns in local markets.
