Dulux talks to agencies regarding digital creative task

LONDON - The paint giant Dulux has contacted an undisclosed number of agencies about its digital creative account.

Dulux has yet to brief agencies, but has requested credentials with the aim of appointing an agency for work across its portfolio of products and consumer website.

The brief is likely to include the development of digital work to support its Dulux Once brand and its new paint product, Realife.

Last month, Abbott Mead Vickers BBDO launched a TV and print campaign for the relaunch of the Once brand, and to promote Realife.

Realife is a premium emulsion performance paint that is ten times tougher than normal paint, scrubbable and stain-resistant. It is aimed at families.

The Dulux roster agency Design Bridge, which created the identity and packaging, has also updated the packaging for Once.

Dulux is a prolific user of online media and increased its digital marketing activity last year. Last April, Dulux launched its first major online ad campaign to promote its online room-design and colour tool, MousePainter.
