Kleeneze sells home, garden, health, beauty and gift products through 18,000 independent salesmen, which it estimates visit 2.5m homes each month. It is now opening up this network for affiliate marketing.
It said the distributors, as it refers to its salesforce, are keen for it to run more promotions after a trial run with online wine retailer Naked Wines. Consumers were given a money-off wine voucher with each purchase, resulting in a marked boost in sales.
Diane Pearce, sales director at Naked Wines, said the voucher campaign was one of its most successful and plans to work with Kleeneze again.
The company, which was set up by a group of former Virgin Wines executives, has also run affiliate marketing campaigns with Amazon, Waterstones and Lovefilm.
Jamie Stewart, managing director of Kleeneze, said: "We have one of the UK's largest networks of doorstep distributors who are self-employed and incentivised to grow their businesses by building a loyal customer base.
"The decision to open up our network to other brands has been taken following demand from our distributors for other new promotions."
Kleeneze is part of home shopping business Findel, which is listed in the FTSE 250 and has an annual turnover of more than £450m.
