The game, which features the voice of the 12th doctor, Peter Capaldi, features a new story of Doctor Who battling his enemies, written by Phil Ford, a writer of shows including Doctor Who and the children's programme, Wizards vs Aliens.
The game, which was produced and developed by BBC Wales and Somethin' Else in association with BBC Future Media as part of the BBC’s Make it Digital initiative, will be available to play on the CBBC website from Wednesday at .
In the game, the Doctor teams up with a Dalek, who are usually baddies in the series. Players have to complete a range of puzzles that are linked to England’s new computing curriculum.

Paul Bennun, the chief creative officer at Somethin’ Else, said: "It's not every day you get to design a control panel for a Dalek thousands of people will use – and to be such an integral part of something as important as the BBC's Digital Creativity initiative.
"We hope this game will delight its audiences as much as it teaches code through play. We think it's an amazing example of what content can do."
