Lowe, headed by Matthew Bull, lost the Vectra account after both agencies pitched ideas to Vauxhall. It created the launch advertising for Vectra in 2002, in a campaign starring Ed Harris.
After a string of wins over the past few years, DLKW now works on the Corsa, Meriva, Astra and Agila marques, as well as Vauxhall dealerships.

The loss comes on the back of the global HSBC account being shifted out of Lowe to the WPP Group and Unilever's decision to hand Lowe's £25m Flora brief to Bartle Bogle Hegarty.
In February, Lowe stemmed the loss of Vauxhall work by winning the Tigra account after a pitch against DLKW. It still handles the advertising for the Zafira, Signum and Vauxhall Vans.
Lowe held the entire £60m Vauxhall account at the beginning of 2002 but, over the past two-and-a-half years, DLKW taken on work for the car manufacturer worth more than £40m.
