Discovery premieres motor makeover show online

LONDON - Discovery Networks UK is to air a new show 'Chop Shop: London Garage' on its 99p online video service, ahead of its TV premiere on the Discovery Channel.

The series involves two men, practical Eastender Bernie and creative Bangladeshi Leepu, transforming old bangers at a car workshop in London's East End.

There are 13 one-hour episodes, which will air on the Discovery Channel from Monday October 8 at 10pm.

From today, the first episode of the show is available to watch on Discovery's pay-per-view service online, at .

Discovery is pushing the show with an on-air and print advertising campaign, using the strapline "sparks will fly", which plays on the arguments common between Bernie and Leepu as they go about their work.

The campaign was developed by 4Creative, Channel 4's in-house creative department.
