Hervieu has been involved with Blenheim for a number of years. Firstly as commercial manager for Petplan Equine, former sponsors at Blenheim, and more recently as event organiser at Blenheim, since 2005.
Hervieu has over 15 years experience in marketing, including roles with Thomas Cook Direct and Petplan. She has also undertaken consultancy roles in strategic planning, marketing and sales for a number of other companies.
Her role as director will involve all of the preparation for the event including agreeing briefs, appointing contractors and negotiating sponsorship agreements. Hervieu will liaise with event officials and volunteers, oversee all the administration involved, along with the promotion and marketing of the event.
Joining Hervieu on the team will be course designer Eric Winter and course builder David Evans.
Hervieu said: "Putting on a high-class event like Blenheim is all about teamwork and I feel privileged to be involved with such a fantastic group of professionals and volunteers. Blenheim has enjoyed a great reputation since it began in 1990 and I look forward to building on that and developing the event further."

Blenheim International Horse Trials was established in 1990 and is set in the grounds of the Duke of Marlborough's Blenheim Palace.
British Eventing is the governing body for the sport of eventing.
