Direct Line is planning a unique sleeping gig at Wilton's Music Hall in London as part of a series of experiential events aimed at helping busy people maximise their free time.

The sleeping gig will allow up to 15 people to curl up in bed while listening to contemporary music from the Urban Soul Orchestra.

The event is the result of a collaboration with psychologist Dr Tomas Chamorro-Premuzic to study the benefits of work-hour power naps and determine the musical elements and genres that best complement sleep.

Guests will arrive to Wilton's Music Hall, in London's Graces Alley, before the 45-minute experience kicks off at 3pm on 6 November.

It is the latest in a series of events planned by the insurance company to encourage people to enjoy their free time and keep moving forward in their lives, which launched in the summer with its Cinigym event.

The Cinigym combined a traditional cinema experience with cross trainers, rowing machines and energy drinks instead of popcorn, during the event at Cecil Sharp House, near Regents Park, on 25 July.

A third event is now in the pipeline, and is expected to take place in early 2014, that will combine admin tasks with a party.
