The new agency has its own management team, including CEO Ben Langdon, a client services director, a director of ideas and a planning director who will handle client requirements across all disciplines.
At the same time, each of the agencies in the group will rebrand and carry the DMG name.
Digital Marketing Group's most recent results showed gross profits up 27% to £18.72m in the six months to 30 September 2008. The company was launched in October 2006 and has grown rapidly through a series of acquisitions, included Jaywing, Inbox, and digital creative agencies Hyperlaunch and Graphico.
Langdon said the launch of agency DMG "is a natural extension of how we have come to operate since the company launched in 2006. Digital marketing involves the alignment of a number of complex skills and to do it brilliantly, you need a hand-picked team drawn from a large pool of specialists across several disciplines. A single agency simply can't hold the breadth of talent required."
The group's clients include Hitachi Capital and Thomas Cook.
