Digital Cinema Media replaces branding iron idents

LONDON - Cinema advertising group Digital Cinema Media has unveiled its new idents, which feature clips from well-known films including Pirates of the Caribbean.

Digital Cinema Media replaces branding iron idents

The idents will replace the old Carlton Screen Advertising branding irons which have greeted cinemagoers for the past 11 years.

The new idents are part of the new look for DCM - the joint venture between Cineworld and Odeon. The idents were created by branding agency CDT with an original music score created by Red Custard Music.

Fleur Castell, marketing controller at DCM, said the new idents will be a focal point to the group's communications and will be integrated into both its print and online communications.

DCM is currently attempting to find out what is the UK's ultimate cult cinema ad - shortlisted ads include Kylie Minogue's revealing Agent Provocateur spot and the iconic Guinness surfer spot. To vote for your favourite visit http://www.dcm.co.uk/cultads/.
