
The 2014 London edition of the travel show, which next year celebrates its 20th year, will include a new medical consultation service from the Medical Advisory Service for Travellers Abroad; an 'Extreme Taste' zone serving unusual food and drink; and a Lonely Planet photography exhibition celebrating its 40th anniversary.
Organisers will also be introducing a 'No.1 Lounge' experience from online travel service No1Traveller.com, which will offer complimentary spa treatments and refreshments while visitors plan their next adventure.
Visitors can also stop by a 'Taste the World' area where complimentary samples of world food and drink will be available throughout the day..
The show, at London’s Earls Court on 6-9 February 2014, will also feature a celebrity line-up of travel experts such as Monty Halls, Jeremy Bowen, Julia Bradbury and Simon Reeve, who will be speaking every day at the show.
Meet the Experts theatres will play host to travel personalities, celebrities and experts offering advice and information on travel, TV, wildlife, international politics, science, history and photography. Travel Photography seminars will also take place in the theatres
Clarion is looking to build on last year’s record attendance of 55,000 visitors. Show director Sam North said: "There will be a huge choice of fresh travel inspiration on offer with more than 300 exhibitors showcasing destinations across the world – from adventure tour operators to road trips in the USA, to cruise holidays and city breaks."
Destinations will also take place at Manchester's EventCity on 23-26 January 2014.
