Derek was put up for eviction after receiving six votes while Roberto had four nominations. On hearing the news, the house fell silent. Maxwell piped up with "It's the golden oldies up for eviction."
Roberto replied: "We've got to get out, we've got no choice, it's the name of the game." Derek did not say anything, but was shown sitting stony faced.
Warren Lush, spokesman at Ladbrokes, said: "Derek is odds-on to swap the bitching and backbiting of the Big Brother house for that of the Tory party come the start of next week."
However, Lush warns that Derek wanting to go could persuade the public to keep him in.
"Derek says he wants to go and we make him hot favourite for the chop. We've seen in the past, however, that the public like to prolong the misery of a housemate who says they want out," he added.
Meanwhile, Makosi and Kemal are joint favourites to win 'Big Brother' with odds of 4/1.
Maxwell and Anthony are joint second with 5/1 while camp hairdresser Craig has seen his popularity soar, with Ladbrokes cutting his odds of winning from 12/1 to 7/1.
