The publisher has announced that seven issues will be published during the six-week tournament, roughly in weekly instalments but with an extra issue to give it the flexibility to react to dramatic events, such as an England defeat.
This will include tips on betting available throughout the tournament, previews of matches and interactive advertising from sponsor Blue Square, the online and telephone bookmaker.
The move coincides with a revamp of the magazine version of Inside Edge, to focus on poker coverage, including advanced game strategy, profiles of players and coverage of tournaments.
A spokeswoman said even though the focus had shifted to poker, general sports betting will still be covered. The revamp has also included a size change to US A4, as well as a new design that includes the card suit of spades on the cover.
Richard Downey, publisher of Dennis's gambling portfolio, that also includes total Gambler and Poker Player, said: "Inside Edge Live will enable us to provide timely, specific and valuable betting information to our huge database of sports betting readers.
"With seven issues during the World Cup we will be able to offer the very latest information, including up to date odds ion each game throughout the competition."
The first issue of the new design, dated July, goes on sale on June 1, while Inside Edge Live launches on June 8.
