Dennis, which is headed up by publisher Felix Dennis, already publishes car titles Auto Express, Evo, . From 1 November, these will be complemented by carbuyer.co.uk.
Unlike Dennis's other car titles, which are largely aimed at the car enthusiast, carbuyer.co.uk is aimed squarely at the man in the street looking to buy a new car.
The site, which will be ad funded, claims to be the first motoring site to combine expert reviews, aggregated content and exclusive video road tests.
It will provide reviews of new cars on sale in the UK and a rating system for new models, as well as acting as an aggregator for other car titles' content. Video content will be pivotal to the site, Dennis added.
Dennis said it is being launched on the back of input from over 6,000 new car buyers. Launch advertisers include Ford, Mazda, Land Rover and Jaguar, bought by media agency Mindshare.
The title will be edited by Dan Strong, who is also editor of sister title autoexpress.co.uk.
