Dare hires Agency Republic's Cooper as creative director

LONDON - Dare has hired a new creative director James Cooper and has promoted its creative director Flo Heiss to the new role of creative partner.

Cooper was the creative director and a board member at Agency Republic, having joined in April 2003 as a joint interactive director. Before that, he worked at DMB&B, RPM3 and Ogilvy & Mather, where he was a copywriter, rising to be a deputy creative director of Ogilvy Interactive.

Cooper will work with Heiss, an art director by background, on major projects, as well as taking on individual briefs. "Finding a good copywriter is quite difficult in the digital industry," Heiss said. "I've been looking for someone for a while now who complements my skills.

"I can no longer give adequate attention to every piece of work that goes out of the door; it will be brilliant to have someone of James' calibre to share the work," he added.
