
The night’s first episode of ‘Dancing on Ice’ had an average audience of 8.08 million on ITV1 and ITV1 HD between 6.30pm and 8.30pm, a 29.9% share of the available audience. A further 131,900 watched the show on ITV1 +1.
The overall audience of 8.21 million was the lowest audience for the show so far, down 199,100 from last week. The series started on 9 January with 9.33 million viewers on ITV1 and ITV1 HD.
‘Dancing on Ice: The Skate-off’, which saw cricketer Dominic Cork lose out to TV presenter Jeff Brazier, had an average audience of 7.17 million on ITV1 and ITV1 HD, a 27.4% share. A further 90,800 watched the skate-off in ITV1 +1.
The overall audience of the second show, which in a new twist made fellow celebs pick Cork to get the boot, was 7.26 million, slightly below last week’s skate-off which drew in 7.3 million.
‘Wild at Heart’, which was sandwiched between the ‘Dancing on Ice’ episodes, had an audience of 6.98 million on ITV1 and ITV HD, a 24.1% share of the available audience. A further 143,700 watched ‘Wild at Heart’ on ITV1 +1.
Though ITV1 was the most watched channel from 6pm to 10pm last night, ‘Lark Rise to Candleford’ still managed an audience of 6.27 million between 8pm and 9pm on BBC One and BBC One HD, a 20.7% share of the available audience.
‘Top Gear’, the blokey car programme presented by Jeremy Clarkson, had an average audience of 6.25 million between 8pm and 9pm on BBC Two last night, a 20.7% share of the available audience.
‘Terry Wogan's Ireland’ had an audience of 4.8 million on BBC One and BBC One HD between 9pm and 10pm, a 17.5% share of the available audience.
