Nadia has reclaimed the top spot with Coral, following a hectic week for the Portuguese transsexual, in which she was involved in a heated row with Scottish bodybuilder Jason and a spanking incident with gay hairdresser Dan.
Coral communications director Simon Clare said: "The public has taken to her role as the cult figure in the house."
Nadia, who will be seen on tonight's show successfully completing a mini-task to make all the housemates laugh, replaces Geordie Michelle as favourite with Coral.
Clare added that he expects Michelle and Nadia to trade the favourite slot in the short term, although it is still difficult to predict who the eventual winner will be. He said: "This is the hardest series to predict so far, it's so up and down. For example, people don't like Ahmed and Jason because of things they've done but we don't really know what people think of people like Stuart."
Coral now has Michelle at 5/2 second favourite, down from 2/1 yesterday and Nadia's odds have been slashed to 9/4 from 11/4 yesterday.
Ladbrokes also put Nadia as favourite at 2/1, with Michelle and Dan joint second favourites at 3/1. Ahmed remains the favourite to get the boot in tonight's eviction, with Coral offering odds of 1/16 on his departure.
Meanwhile, Channel 4 has denied media reports that tonight's evictee will get the chance to take another housemate with him or her.
Other speculation in the media includes a report in The Sun claiming that one housemate will be offered £20,000 of the total prize fund by producers to sabotage Saturday's task.
