Ahmed's odds have been slashed overnight from 1/3 to 1/20, making him the most likely housemate to go in 'Big Brother' history.
Warren Lush, spokesman for bookmaker Ladbrokes, said: "We are on the verge of closing the book as everybody wants Ahmed to go. It's one-way traffic, we've hardly taken a penny on the other five housemates."
Of the six housemates up for eviction this week Victor is second favourite to go with odds of 7/1, then Nadia at 20/1, with Shell at 33/1 and Dan and Stuart tying on 40/1.
Favourite to win the show is Michelle on 2/1, with Nadia drifting from 2/1 to 3/1, drawing level with gay hairdresser Dan who has remained solid since week one. Stuart has slipped from 4/1 to 5/1 while posh Shell has been given 8/1 odds, with Victor on 14/1 and Jason on 33/1. Ahmed is absolute rank outsider with odds of 80/1 to win.
Michelle's increasing popularity comes after a turbulent couple of days in the house. The Geordie has repeatedly stood up to Ahmed's whimsical excuses not to do tasks and has gained public respect, as well as sympathy from her fellow housemates.
On Nadia's fall from the top spot, Lush said: "Nadia's nicotine withdrawal has had a negative effect on her mood and chances of winning."
