Corvin to head marketing at Webb Scarlett deVlam

LONDON - Webb Scarlett deVlam has appointed Tim Corvin as marketing director, ahead of a new phase of international expansion.

He joins from Siebert Head, where he was managing director and his appointment follows that of creative director Mark Lloyd and Claire Yates as client service director.

Webb Scarlett deVlam has been running for 15 years and has offices in London, Chicago and Sydney. Clients include Dunhill Cigars, Plymouth Gin, Hugo Boss Skin and Dulux.

Ian Webb, managing partner, said: "There are fascinating challenges for brand owners as the dynamics of marketing are changing in response to economic pressures, sustainable issues and consumer concerns.

"Brand performance is holistic -- 2D and 3D aspects have to be reconciled as positive emotional and physical experiences. As designers with many different skills, we resolve the paradox between local and international branding issues."
