
The videos, created by digital agency Grand Union, deliver Coca-Cola's position on recycling and packaging, hoping that they will allow further engagement from the public.
The two initial videos both feature a parent and a Coke representative embarking on a journey investigating the issues around packaging and waste. Grand Union has tagged the approach of the films as ‘grown-up Sesame Street', using a selective mix of real footage and animation.
The first phase of the website was launched in 2008 inviting visitors to submit their Coke-related questions to the Coca-Cola panel and a year on more than 1,000 questions have been answered.
Marketing reported in October that the drinks giant was planning to ramp up its UK CSR activity with the extension of its US umbrella brand, Live Positively. Sanjay Guha, president of Coca-Cola Great Britain and Ireland, at the time said: 'It's an essential way of thinking for us and part of our DNA, where we don't just want to be a responsible producer, but help people make the right decisions.'
