
Erste Group is one of the largest financial services providers in Central and Eastern Europe. The campaign will run on the business and financial news channel across Europe, the Middle East and Africa from next Monday (26 October).
It will include spot ads and sponsored "hotboards", featuring market updates from the Eastern European region.
Erste Group will also sponsor a series of 30-second vignettes, which will include interview highlights from Emerging Europe.
Emerging Europe is a week-long focus that starts on 2 November and includes interviews with leading chief executives, central bank governors, finance ministers and prime ministers from the region, on a range of issues, including how countries in the rgion have been affected by the economic climate.
Reports will also focus on the 20th anniversary of the fall of the Berlin Wall, how the region has evolved and the outlook for these economies.
CNBC, a wholly owned subsidiary of NBC Universal, has achieved record European audience levels during the economic downturn, with daily reach up 18% to 640,000 and monthly reach up 5% to seven million, according to September's European Media & Marketing Survey.
