The awards, held in association with Haymarket Brand Media, are in their fifth year and celebrate effective and intelligent planning of the outdoor medium, and offer planning teams the chance to win £30,000 of ad space.
Pippa Glucklich of Arena BLM, Daren Rubins of PHD, Robert Ffitch of Manning Gottlieb OMD, David Jowett of MediaCom and Tim Neligan of ZenithOptimedia, will help Clear Channel’s chief executive Matthew Dearden choose the winners.
Winners will be awarded in each of five categories: best use of outdoor in a multimedia campaign, best use of multiple formats in outdoor, best use of roadside, best use of continuity in outdoor, and best use of innovation in outdoor.
Other members of the judging panel include Roisin Donnelly, corporate marketing director at Procter & Gamble, Elizabeth Fagan, marketing director at Boots, and Danielle Crook, head of brand and marketing communications at Vodafone.
The awards are now open for entry. The overall winning team will receive £30,000 of advertising space on Clear Channel’s premium Pinnacle formats. There is also a cash prize for the winning agency planner.
Dearden said: "These awards showcase innovative planning and effective campaigns that achieve real value and engagement for brands. They prove out-of-home delivers as a core media choice, and I am looking forward to celebrating and rewarding the creativity and flexibility outdoor brings to the media mix."
