
The new stores include Sydenham in London, Emerson Green in Bristol and Tunbridge Wells in Kent.
The addition gives Clear Channel 2,100 poster sites as part of the Sainsbury's contract and seven of the top 10 stores by takings.
Clear Channel renewed its long-term contract with Sainsbury's in October 2009 and is aiming to expand its portfolio to nine out of 10 Sainsbury's 500 main stores in 2011. Sainsbury's also has more than 300 smaller shops.
Alistair Cox, head of reach development at Clear Channel UK, said: "Our new build programme has focused on the top stores by takings, reflecting Clear Channel’s commitment to developing the highest quality panels.
"The sites are situated in prime locations near store entrances to engage with shoppers as they arrive at store and help them make informed choices as they shop."
According to the last published data from audience measurement system Postar, Clear Channel Outdoor had a total of 45,556 roadside six-sheets in February 2010.
Earlier this month Clear Channel confirmed the judges for the Clear Channel Planning Awards. Five media agency managing directors will join marketers from P&G, Vodafone and Boots to choose who will win £30,000 of ad space.
