Classic FM adds mail-order offer

LONDON - Classic FM is to enter the mail-order business with a catalogue of goods called the Classic FM Collection.

The items, including wooden toys and gardening equipment, will be sold by post and online at www.classicfmcollection.com.

The radio station is supporting the launch with an ad campaign comprising print, radio, online and TV executions, which will be rolled out later this month.

The launch is the culmination of a CRM programme, which, the station claims, has seen 350,000 people register on its database.

The Classic FM Collection is the latest brand extension from the station, which already runs a magazine, website, record and publishing arm and a digital TV station.

Classic FM station manager Darren Henley said: 'Classic FM is continually looking for new ways to connect with its listeners.'
