Ciao Surveys launches two research tools

LONDON - Ciao Surveys, an internet research business, has added two new products to its Express-It suite of research tools.

Express Incidence Checker is a tool devised to quickly determine the incidence rate of a particular target group or user group before it is surveyed. The Express Poll tool provides users with a quick insight into people's attitudes and opinions on any subject.

The two products enable researchers to submit one closed question with up to 10 set answers and then receive results within 24 hours. This means, for example, that Express Incidence Checker could be used to predict the penetration rate of a new product before it launches, while the Express Poll tool could be used to gauge people's views on an advertising campaign or product on the market.

Nicolas Metzke, Ciao Surveys's managing director, said: "We believe there is a market for quick-turnaround projects without compromising on quality. Out Express-It! Suite is the attempt to combine the smart use of technology with a fully-managed and controlled sample."

The tools can be used in the 14 countries where Ciao Surveys has proprietary panels, including the UK, Germany, France, the Netherlands, Spain and Italy.

Ciao Surveys is a subsidiary of Greenfield Online. Earlier this month the parent company split Ciao Surveys away from its e-commerce comparison shopping business Ciao!
