Shop has created this animated ad in the style of a computer game for Christian Aid Week, which runs from May 11-17.

The spot opens with the inhabitants of a tropical and coastal island going about their daily business. A happy soundtrack is playing and the sun is shining.

Suddenly a large dark cloud looms over them and a storm starts to brew soon turning into a hurricane. People, houses, trees and animals are blown everywhere and the village is left devastated.

Then a time-lapse sequence shows the villagers getting back to work recreating the wiped out village with the help of Christian Aid donations.
