The launch coincides with the opening a brand new Chorus call centre, where Chorus Direct Financial Services will be based, which will create 250 new jobs.
The new company will specifically look after Chorus's new key financial services and insurance clients. Launch clients include the Direct Financial Advisory Service in conjunction with a prominent UK general insurer.
Andy Carruthers, managing director of Chorus Direct, said: "We have set up Chorus Direct Financial Services in response to the growing needs of our financial clients. We want to offer the best outbound telemarketing and we feel the paramount way for us to carry this out is through a dedicated division tailored to individual client's needs."
Like Chorus Direct, the new company will offer the same state-of-the-art dialer technology required for outbound data collection and will cater for outbound telesales.
The call centre will be located at City Park, a new commercial development in the heart of Glasgow, and reaffirms the group's commitment and investment to the UK call centre industry rather than outsourcing to India.
The new premises will bring Chorus Direct's number of predictively dialled seats to more than 600. The centre will undertake telesales campaigns for a number of clients, effectively offering a one-stop shop of data purchase and telesales campaign management.
Data Locator Group specialises in collecting and providing data prospects for marketing and telemarketing use.
