One of City of London’s 12 Livery Companies, Goldsmiths' received its first Royal Charter in 1327 and is responsible for hallmarking items of gold, silver, platinum and Palladium.

Chester Boyd will provide catering for all dinners and corporate occasions at Goldsmiths’ Hall. It will also run the restaurant for the annual Goldsmiths' Fair jewellery event, starting on 26 September this year.

CH&Co for Chester Boyd managing director Alison Tyler signed the contract with Goldsmiths’ Company clerk Dick Melly, alongside a silver gilt ink stand made by Paul de Lamerie, described by the V&A Museum as "the greatest Silversmith of the 18th century."
