The six-part series called 'Dubplate Drama' will also feature rap and garage music stars So Solid Crew and Rodney P, alongside the much acclaimed Ms Dynamite, as they address social issues affecting young people such as guns, crime and drugs.
There will also be cameo roles from Leo Gregory, star of recent football hooligan movie 'Green Street', and Radio 1Extra DJ Cameo among others.
The series will also air on E4, MTV Base and on Sony's new handheld PSP. At the end of each episode, viewers will have to decide the fate of main character MC Shystie by texting in a decision to a moral dilemma, thereby influencing the plot for the next episode.
'Dubplate Drama', co-created by youth marketing agency Livity and director Luke Hyams, is due to air from November and could pave the way for future interactive TV dramas.
Michelle Clothier, founding partner of Livity, said: "The show allows young people to recontextualise the issues they may be facing via a third-person character."
In addition, Livity will be launching a street level campaign around 'Dubplate Drama', with a booklet and CD from the series, to send socially responsible youth messages.
