Viewers will need 3D glasses to watch the programmes but will be able to view the content on standard TV screens.
Content to run will include a two-hour programme titled 'The Queen In 3D'. It will include unseen footage of the Queen and tell the story of two young men - director Bob Angell and cameraman Arthur Wooster, now in their 80s - who filmed a 3D colour newsreel called Royal Review.
Also to be broadcast is Derren Brown's 3D Magic Spectacular, The Greatest Ever 3D Moments and several 3D movies.
