Virgin1 to air 3D episode of Chuck

LONDON - Virgin1 has tied up with IPC ahead of the launch of its 3D episode of drama series 'Chuck' which viewers will be able to watch on a standard TV set with 3D glasses.

IPC's TV & Satellite Week magazine will distribute 3D glasses as a cover mount, which will enable fans of the show to watch in 3D on 25 August.

A campaign to promote the episode will run across the Virgin channel portfolio as well as online on the Virgin and freeview websites.

The special one-off episode titled, 'Chuck vs The Third Dimension', will feature guest star Dominic Monaghan, who has appeared in TV series 'Lost' and feature film 'Lord of the Ring'. Monaghan plays a rock star that Chuck is sent to protect. When the episode aired in the US it attracted 8.4 million viewers.
