Based at Birmingham's NEC, the double event will take place from 27 to 30 March 2014.
Nick Noble, managing director of Centaur Special Interest Exhibitions, said: "Our audience are all knowledge-hungry, serious home improvers and self-builders, and the shows’ recent audience figures prove there is the demand for us to take The Home Improvement Show to a new audience in 2014."
Centaur Media currently holds five specialist property shows across the country, which take place from March to the end of November each year, but this is the first time two of its events will be under one roof.
"The Home Improvement Show has come of age since it launched in 2009 and has attracted visitors with significant projects that range from building their own home to re-decorating or re-designing a specific area," said Noble.
"The majority of our audience has large, disposable incomes, who want to improve or build their own homes.
"Having both the Home Improvement and Homebuilding show under the one roof at the NEC over the same weekend enables us to deliver two comprehensive shows to a project driven audience."
This year the National Home Improvement Show in London will take place from 27 to 29 September at Olympia.
