The survey, produced by corporate hospitality firm Keith Prowse, showed only a third of corporate clients are influenced by celebrity presence and only 11% need Wi-Fi access.

The quality of food is most essential to buyers, with 98% stating that it would affect their buying habits. Hospitality and quality of drinks are second and third on the list.

"These results from our annual survey report confirm our long-held belief that there is nothing more important than the dining experience enjoyed by guests." said Keith Prowse head of marketing Ted Walker.
