
The report, which forecasts the corporate hospitality sector to increase by 8% as a result of the Olympic and Paralympic Games, also reveals that 2011 saw the sector grow by 2% to a total value of £950m.
Considering the current economic climate an increase of any sorts cannot be dismissed.
However, the report also poses the question of whether the loosening of these corporate hospitality budgets for 2012 will have a permenant effect on the industry.
Crucially if the Olympics prove to a success for the industry then the 2014 Commonwealth Games in Glasgow will potentially have a big impact on the growth of corporate hospitality for the next three to four years.
However, the figures for 2011 are in stark contrast to the decline that was suffereed in 2009 and 2010.
