
Ellis will be responsible for managing ad sales across atmAd's network of 6,000 screens to Aegis' out-of-home specialist Posterscope and its related media agencies.
Ellis has worked in media for more than six years and joins atmAd from CBS Outdoor, where he worked in its dedicated digital team Alive before the unit was integrated into the traditional outdoor sales team in December 2009.
An atmAd spokesman said Ellis' arrival was part of a restructure after the appointment of national sales director Justin Stark and illustrated a renewed emphasis on atmAd's national proposition.
The team is now organised to serve outdoor specialists, agencies and clients, and will focus on developing relationships with specific national advertisers and FMCG clients.
Stark said atmAd had "very ambitious plans" for the next 12 months and the new team structure would enable atmAd to "provide outdoor media specialists, agencies and clients with tailored advice on how best to maximize their media spend".
