CBBC Live to land in Birmingham

Some CBBC's most popular programmes will be brought to life in Birmingham this weekend (16-17 July) at an interactive event in Centenary Square.

CBBC Live in Birmingham will feature four interactive zones themed around Wolfblood, CBBC HQ Zone, Match Of The Day Kickabout, and Cbeebies favourite Old Jack’s Boat.

The presentation team, including Hacker T Dog, Karim and Lauren will entertain the crowds live on stage alongside stars including Paddy Wilde (Got What It Takes) and Ben Shires (Wolfblood).

A Danger Mouse detective hunt, creative workshops, and a technology zone will be housed inside the Library of Birmingham as well as ticketed events with some of the UK’s best-loved authors.

A collaboration between CBBC, BBC Learning, Birmingham City Council and the Library of Birmingham, the event celebrates Awesome Authors, the BBC’s #LovetoRead campaign that aims to get children excited about reading, creative writing and storytelling. It will take place from 9am to 6pm on Saturday and 10am to 6pm on Sunday.
