The ad appeared in newspapers on Saturday, only a day after Zeta-Jones, her husband Michael Douglas and rival celebrity glossy OK! magazine celebrated a partial victory in their court case against Hello!.
The ad, created by Lowe Worldwide, features a picture of Zeta-Jones and Michael Douglas. The headline reads: "The Olympus Mju 300 Digital. So small, you won't even know it's there."
In the small print appears the words: "And with 3.2m pixels giving you superb definition, you can guarantee your photos will be better than OK." It was created by Robin Garton and Rick Standley.
OK! magazine had a £1m deal with the Douglases for exclusive rights to their wedding photos. However, Hello! magazine published a spoiler edition featuring pictures of the couple taken surreptitiously. One of them showed Zeta-Jones eating -- a picture she said had particularly hurt her.
The judge in the case has said that the couple should be paid damages, but no amount has yet been set. The Douglases may also have to pay their own costs -- likely to outweigh any damages they win. They are claiming £500,000 against Hello!.
Lowe has previously created one-off executions for Olympus after a story appeared in the tabloids about Jeffrey Archer attending a party while he was supposed to be at home during leave from prison.
