The event, , has followed in the footsteps of its sister event, , which sold all of its 20,000 tickets in 40 minutes.
Alison Willis, commercial director at Brand Events, said: "Chris Evans' enthusiasm, plus his followers and breakfast show listeners can be attributed to the amazing response to the tickets sales. Both are set to be realy unique events."
CarFest North, which will take place on 8-9 September at Cholmondeley Castle, is being billed by Evans as the perfect family festival.
There will be two car auctions of classic cars, a hill climb of ‘Magnificent Sevens’ supercars and a ‘Cakes v Pies’ baking competition. The music offering will be headlined by the same acts as CarFest South - Texas and Razorlight.
CarFest South is set to take place at Laverstoke Park Farm from 25-26 August.
