CACI creates new client services role for direct marketing

LONDON – Shelagh Regester has quit as data strategy director at Arc Worldwide to fill a new position at CACI as client services director of its direct marketing group.

CACI has brought in Regester to work with business director Tracy Weir to lead the expansion of its direct marketing business among the database hosting and CRM analytics sectors.

Prior to her time at Arc, Regester ran her own CRM consultancy, advising clients including Norwich Union and The Economist on data, technology and management issues and helping them to establish CRM programmes.

Paul Winters, managing director of CACI's marketing solutions division, believes Regester's appointment will have a significant impact on the growth of the direct marketing group.

"We have ambitious plans for our direct and database marketing business and Shelagh's appointment shows our commitment to dramatically grow this division," Winters said.

Regester began her career with database marketing bureau Printronic International and subsequently become managing director of Information for Marketing, which was later acquired by Harte Hanks.
