In a new effort to try to boost flagging ratings, 'Big Brother' is to make one of the housemates leader of the house.
The head of the 'Big Brother' house will be the winner of Saturday night's live challenge and they will hold the title for one week. Saturday's night challenge will see the housemates be given robotic animals that will compete in a race. The housemate with the winning robot becomes leader of the house.
Earlier this week, the housemates passed their equestrian test by correctly learning how to tack up a horse correctly, winning them £123 to spend on food.
With leadership will come responsibility and it will be the head of the house who will be the only allowed to nominate housemates in the coming week. They will also get to decide what everyone else eats by being given power over the food budget.
Tonight Ray, Gos and yoga-loving Nush are all up for eviction. The money is on cook Gos, who no longer does a lot of cooking, being the one to go, leaving Ray, Steph, Scott, newcomer Lisa, Cameron and Nush in the house.
As the house leader will not be able to vote for themselves they will, like Lisa and Cameron this week, have immunity from eviction.
Things have perked up a little bit in the house since new housemate Lisa arrived last week -- for viewers at least -- with Steph claiming that her arrival has led to suspicion and paranoia among the remaining housemates.
Top of the list of paranoid has been Steph herself, who thinks that Lisa is trying to manipulate her using information she holds about her.
"I feel awkward, I've found myself not knowing what to say. The way she is with us is very familiar, and it makes you think of the outside world. Nobody could replace Tania. I don't know, it's weird," Steph told 'Big Brother'.
