The site, designed by digital creative agency Collective, allows internet users to apply for funding for a good local cause and to donate time or money.
RDF has teamed up with Big Lottery Fund for the fourth series of 'The Secret Millionaire' in which £1m will be awarded in grants of up to £10,000 across the UK.
For the chance to secure lottery funding, users can visit the website to find out if their community group is eligible for a grant and download an application form to apply.
Successful applicants may then be selected for filming by Channel 4 and appear on the website or TV programme.
Garret Keogh, RDF digital cross platform director, said: "'Secret Millionaire' has been a phenomenally successful show, and with the current series our primary aims are to not only entertain our audience, but also to engage with them in new ways, while showing them how the lottery funding process works.
"We believe that Collective has the right creative expertise to ensure that fun and funding blend perfectly, across an integrated multi-platform approach."
Collective won 'The Secret Millionaire' business after a competitive pitch against two other agencies. It will continue to develop the website over the next year.
Greg Doone, managing director of Collective, said: "We were particularly pleased to win this commission because we feel it one of the most creative concepts that television has produced.
"The combination of the Big Lottery Fund and Channel 4 shows that TV is going way beyond its boundaries -- and we are very experienced in pushing creative to the limits.
"It's also great to be involved in concepts that not only entertain but are also of benefit to local communities."
The current series of 'The Secret Millionaire' is being shown on Channel 4 at 9pm on Sundays.
