Budgens plans to use press ads, door-drop promotional leaflets, in-store point-of-sale materials and a 16-page brochure for the Christmas season push.
The campaign features families enjoying Budgens produce from their local high-street store, and will also promote the supermarket's Festive Food Ordering service, which allows customers to select products for collection from a local branch.
WFCA has handled a range of ad campaigns for Budgens in the past, including radio, TV, direct marketing and point-of-sale marketing materials. The agency was handed the media planning and buying task for the chain this week in addition to its creative duties.
Andrew Peake, account director at WFCA, said: "The Budgens Christmas work clearly reinforces the Budgens brand position through the use of enticing food photography and competitive local product stories."
Ross Halliday, marketing director at Budgens, added: "[WFCA] continues to develop our brand with the local and regional product stories and a focus on Budgens in the community."
WFCA's clients also include Abbot Ale, Bupa International, Eurotunnel and Old Speckled Hen.
Budgens, which was acquired by Ireland's Musgrave Group in 2002, has 227 stores across the UK.
