WFCA hires JWT's Pashley to bolster creative team

LONDON – WFCA has appointed Wayne Pashley, the former worldwide creative director on Andrex at JWT, as art director.

Greg Phitidis, WFCA creative director, has hired Pashley to partner him as the agency bolsters its creative team on the back of new-business wins including insurance firm Axa, retailer Savers and drinks client Old Speckled Hen.

Pashley had previously worked for 17 years at WPP-owned JWT, where he was worldwide creative director on FMCG client Andrex.

Phitidis said: "I've spent a long time looking for the right guy to help me move the creative product onward and upward.

"Wayne fits not just the brief but the culture. He will be instrumental in helping me continue to push WFCA's creative product forward to the highest level."

The creative department has further been strengthened with the arrival of Linda Holland, an art director with design background. Holland peviously worked at Conran Identity Partnership and Joshua in Sydney, Australia.

Phitidis added: "We've got the best of both worlds with Linda -- a concept-driven creative with a special touch when it comes to bringing ideas to life."
