Broadgate Circle to welcome 11 new eateries

If you're stuck for a new venue in which to wine and dine, head to Broadgate Circle in London's Square Mile from 15 April, where 11 new venues will open their doors.

The venues will occupy the space within a new circular terrace, which forms part of Broadgate Circle’s extensive redevelopment. It is complete with outdoor seating options, lush greenery and floral displays.

Yauatcha

Hakkasan Group plans to open Yauatcha City, its second Michelin-starred dim sum restaurant and teahouse, as well as a brand new concept, Yauatcha Patisserie, within the new space. Tong Chee Hwee will head up the kitchen, which will deliver Cantonese dishes that mirror those available at the group’s Soho flagship.

Situated below the main restaurant, Yauatcha Patisserie will offer a selection of macarons, petits gateaux and chocolates which fuse Chinese and modern European cooking techniques.

Crab Tavern

Crab doughnuts, cheddar stuffed bacon burgers and a Singapore crab dish will all be on offer at this American-style eatery, which is set to open its doors in June.

Aubaine

Parisian-style restaurant, boulangerie and patisserie, Aubaine will open its ninth London site at Broadgate Circle, where diners can expect all-day menus spanning breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea and dinner.  

Beany

Inspired by Sydney's iconic Bondi beach, this independent Australian coffee shop, which is complete with street art installations, will be peoples’ go-to venue for a freshly ground coffee, relaxed weekend brunch, healthy salad or award-winning slice of banana bread.

Comptoir Libanais

Quick, healthy and affordable Lebanese is the focus at Comptori Libanais, which will operate around the clock, serving up breakfast dishes including organic yoghurt topped with pomegranate and orange blossom water and the likes of mezzes, wraps and tagines at lunch and dinner.

Franco Manca

Pizza-lovers will be pleased to find Franco Manca’s 11th site at Broadgate Circle. As with the business’s other venues, all pizzas are baked in a wood burning ‘Tufae’ brick oven and made using slow-rising sourdough. 

Jose Pizarro

Renowned Spanish chef Jose Pizarro, the brains behind tapas and sherry bar, José, as well as Pizarro restaurant in south London, will launch his latest venue here in May. Expect classic Spanish dishes with a modern twist, such as salted cod with orange and fennel, along with Pizarro’s famous pork presa.

Shoryu Ramen

The Shoryu Ramen Restaurant Group will open its fourth Japanese restaurant at Broadgate Circle, with its signature Hakata tonkotsu ramen, Shoryu buns and royal warrant sake all available. In a first for the group, this latest instalment will be complete with both a robata grill and fresh sushi bar.

The Botanist

ETM Group, the company behind popular Sloane Square haunt, The Botanist will open a second venue of the same name within the central London space. Set over two floors, it will house a bar and restaurant which will serve up British and European fare, as well as a club, aptly named Soda Room, that is set to remain open until 2am.

Street Kitchen Sandwich

Street Kitchen Sandwich has secured a permanent site at Broadgate Circle, where patrons can expect espresso, artisan-style breakfast dishes, a new sandwich and salad menu plus organic juices and a selection of local beers. 

Street Dots

The complex will play host to London's top street-food vendors, with the line-up expected to change on a regular basis thanks to Street Dots, who will be responsible for sourcing the food truck offering each day.
