British Gas hands Generation Green account to Crayon

The account, which was previously held by LBi, is understood to be worth £4m.

Crayon has been tasked with developing Generation Green, a campaign launched in May 2008 that rewards schools and pupils with ‘green leaves', which can be earned by completing activities focusing on reducing environmental impact.

The initial brief is to review branding and site architecture and drive increased registration among, and engagement with, school-related audiences.

In the longer term, the agency has been tasked with expanding the activity to reach a wider target audience.
