Britannic Retirement hires WFCA for pensions push

LONDON - Britannic Retirement Solutions has hired WFCA Integrated to create a press, direct marketing, internet and incentive campaign aimed at independent financial advisers.

Britannic wants the advisers to ask their retiring clients for more truthful information about their health and lifestyle to see if they could qualify for a bigger monthly income from their annuity.

The creative prompts advisers to natter, chatter and rabbit more with their clients, and uses images of chattering teeth, rabbits and donkeys with their hindlegs missing.

Press advertising in Financial Adviser, Money Marketing, Money Management and Connected will kick off the campaign, and be followed by direct marketing in which a set of wind-up chattering teeth will be sent to a database of 14,000 IFAs.

There will also be online banner advertising on the major IFA websites. A competition has been developed to encourage advisers to talk more. For every enhanced annuity quote provided, the IFA will be entered into a draw to win a holiday.

WFCA Integrated account director Andrew Peake said: "Britannic really wanted a simple, single-minded creative idea that would capture the imagination of IFAs and drive home a really positive message."
