Asda: how to decorate a Christmas tree

Whilst most people love to get into the festive spirit by decorating their home, there's no denying untangling the Christmas lights and making sure they adorn the tree evenly can be a bit of a hassle. Asda has the solution though in this Vine. Just throw them on and - hey presto! The perfect tree.

Denny's: Christmas wreath

When most people think of a Christmas wreath, they don't think of err... spaghetti. But this American diner brand thinks pasta makes the perfect festive accessory.

Charmin: #Elfontheshelf

This Tweet proves that even toilet paper brands can get into the festive spirit. Some clever social media buff dreamt up this Tweet - elves using loo rolls to 'roll into the festive sprit'.

Oxford Communications: Tweet powered tree

Testament to the power of social media, this agency in New Jersey, USA, gave up its Christmas tree lights to the masses in this Twitter stunt. A simple and amusing Tweet, Kia steps into the Christmas conversation with this play on a famous festive phrase.

"Make ít a merry Christmas for banana farmers and workers" is the message in this Tweet. Fairtrade is calling on consumers to buy Fairtrade this season.

For music fans, there are few more iconic places than Abbey Road. Thanks to The Beatles, the zebra crossing has cemented itself in pop-culture-conscience. That's what Burberry plays on in this mocked up picture of its 'festive puppets' delivering armfuls of Burberry gifts.
