
Retailers located in Seven Dials will also be hosting a number of events. Boutique optometrist Bailey Nelson London will invite customers in-store to try out a photobooth, while cosmetics brand Screenface will be offering body painting outside.
Several well-known brands such as Miller Harris, Fred Perry and Pepe Jeans will be offering complimentary drinks to customers, as well as an in-store discount.
Hotel Chocolat’s restaurant Roast & Conch will be will be hosting sampling activity, while Wildwood Kitchen will be providing an ice cream van.
TV presenter Rick Edwards will be compèring the entertainment on the day. Dance studio Pineapple Dance will be showcasing its contemporary style, writer, columnist and playwright Damian Barr will be hosting a literary salon and the Tristan Bates Theatre will stage a performance of Our World at War.
Elsewhere, the Seven Dials Emergency Poet will be providing a mobile ‘poetic first aid service’, the smallest solar movie theatre, the Sol Cinema, will be open for viewings and artists from the The London Graphic will showcase their live drawing skills on the streets.
It is the first time Seven Dials has hosted the Spotlight festival. The event, which has been organised by marketing and communications agency Sister, is due to take place between midday and 7pm.
