Describe yourself in three words.
Passionate, tenacious and proactive.
How would you define marketing?
It's like looking at my face before and after make-up. The product underneath is still the same, but the right layer of slap makes all the difference.
What advice would you give to someone starting their marketing career today?
Embrace the unlikely, never lose touch with your target aud-ience, and trust your instincts -even if no one else does.
What attracted you to your current job?
It was a natural progression from press manager, which involved the development of campaigns across multiple platforms.
What is your greatest ambition?
To own an island, airline and space shuttle.
What was your first job?
Project co-ordinator for The MOBO Organisation.
If you were a brand, what would you be?
YouTube - engaging, funny and full of useless trivia if you search for long enough.
What ad campaign do you wish you'd commissioned?
The T-Mobile 'Life's For Sharing' flash-mob dance in Liverpool Street Station.
If you weren't you, who would you be?
Not who, what. If I can't be me, I might as well try something different, like being supernatural or alien. Why limit myself to being human?
What would you be if you weren't a brand manager?
A fantasy fiction author.
Do you speak any other languages?
Cypriot and Modern Greek.
What makes you angry?
People who try to convince me that mainstream movie hits such as Independence Day aren't science fiction, they're 'action movies'. Sigh.
If you could get tickets to any event, what would it be?
Any darts final featuring Phil 'The Power' Taylor, the UK's most gifted sportsman. He's amazing.
What was your finest hour?
Being told 13 minutes before close of play on a Friday that I needed to organise a press junket with national journalists, ready to depart for Los Angeles in less than 48 hours. It was tight, but I did it.
